I recently came across a wonderful post by Yuri Artyukh, the author of the popular blog cssing, about how he thought a lot and how he could not make important decisions exactly when it was necessary, and that it was better to take them off his head, trusting his inner instinct.
After all, being afraid of something, we will find a million reasons why it is not worth doing at all.
After some reflection, I realized what prevents me from moving from idea-thought to action.
And this is my brain.
Yes, he can be useful. But not in this case.
Controlling a brainless body is much easier than a brainy one. A body with a brain can start coming up with excuses. "It's not so useful", "I'll start doing it next week, I'm too tired today, and in general...", "Surely more talented dudes have the idea of this startup", "I'm not lucky anyway", bebe.
All you need is to turn off the brain, and do what you wanted. It's simple. Switch off. To do. And then there will be no turning back, and the brain will follow you, trying to help you. Show him who's the boss. And he will serve you faithfully.
What I have described will work more for those who have similar images in their head. But since I'm not very unusual, I hope this will help someone else.
There is a lot more interesting in the post, and especially funny is the comparison of Yuri's technique with the technique of pickups.
