There were so many lamentations on the Runet about the high cost and inferiority of the mac mini. And it's "expensive" very much and the video is integrated there and it's difficult to upgrade it. However, in fairness, it should be noted that there are still few direct competitors for this baby, unless, of course, you compare it with similar machines, and not with self-made "coffins" for $ 400 or cheap Dell computers. Here, for guidance, we present several similar PC solutions with the state prices indicated by the manufacturer (not all of these computers can be freely purchased in Russia). The machines are roughly equal: all have integrated graphics/sound/network, a mobile processor and a similar size.
So, see for yourself: compare and draw conclusions.

Comment:
The younger model is a pretty good (albeit more expensive) alternative to the "minik", in which a card reader and a separate microphone input look like nice additions. More expensive models have a more powerful processor, tuner and memory capacity, having a significantly lower priceabout. A close analogue of the older "minik" (ex5512) costs $300 more expensive than a fruit company computer.
Stealth LPC-450FS fanless (LPC-450 Standard) PC $1450 ($1870) 6.1“ x 10.0“ x 2.17“
Intel Celeron M, 1.86GHz (Intel Core 2 Duo 1.83GHz)

Comment:
A silent model with the worst characteristics is noticeably more expensive than a similar model on C2D
In principle, the curious can try to continue the comparison by looking at the price lists and catalogs of Shuttle, Asus and other companies that produce PC models of a similar form factor, but the situation is unlikely to change from this: the younger model of the Apple computer in its niche looks very, very decent.
