On February 1, the detective thriller "Pravda" directed by Maxim Kuznetsov will be released in Russia. This is the story of a guy who recently got out of prison, who gets into a funnel of accidents and may lose his freedom again.
In the center of the plot is a small Volga city, where a child disappears again – five-year-old Masha becomes the sixth victim. The investigation has no leads, but there is an ideal suspect. And while the whole city is looking for the girl, someone is calling the victims' relatives.
Starring: Kuzma Kotrelev ("Red Bracelets"), Kirill Kyaro ("Epidemic"), Mikhail Troinik ("The Challenge") and Alexandra Drozdova ("The Last Minister"). The film's artistic director is Vladimir Khotinenko.
The premiere of the film took place on August 19 at the Shorter Film Festival in Kaliningrad – the film became part of the competitive debut program.
