With the advent of the ability to make multiplayer games for iPhones and iPods, various developers have released a huge number of their creations. It is enough to look into the App Store catalog to make your eyes run away. Many of the online toys and apps get bored quickly. Some because they are simply not interesting, some because of inconvenient management, and so on. I, like other consumers of casual toys in the App Store, have long wanted something new and addictive. Well, meet Charadium, an unusual online puzzle game.
The essence of Charadium ’a is that one of the participants is offered some word that needs to be schematically depicted, and the other participants should try to guess this word from the drawing. A small amount of time is given to the whole process, both to the drawing and guessing. The artist is provided with a minimal set for creativity: an ordinary "pencil" of several colors and the possibility of canceling actions, but in practice it turned out that this is quite enough to deliver a lot of fun.
The game runs on the already well-known Plus+ multiplayer system, which, as in other games that support it, makes it possible to earn points and "levels", as well as receive various awards such as "the fastest artist" or "the most accurate guesser". Those who want to brighten up a free minute in this toy are given the opportunity to play in shared "rooms" or in separate rooms with their friends from Plus+.
The On-5 development team took a progressive path and made a game in which the content is created by the user himself, which turned out to be the right step. Each participant of the game has his own worldview, each has his own way of thinking, so even though each session of the game in Charadium is essentially the same, still each of them is different.
You can download Charadium from the App Store catalog.
The cost of the application: $0.99.
Interface language: Russian.
P.S. I recommend following the developers' Twitter, where promo codes are sometimes distributed. ;)
