The new "Guardians of the Galaxy", which will complete the James Gunn trilogy, will be released on May 5, but journalists and critics were given the picture to see ahead of time. The first reviews have already appeared on Twitter — they mostly call the film an ideal farewell to the characters, but do not deny some of the shortcomings of the picture. They chose the main thing.
1. "It's just unbelievable. I can't imagine a more perfect ending for James Gunn's trilogy. Every return, every emotion, the path of every hero. This is about the best you can expect from a Marvel movie. Funny, touching, exciting, I want to review it right now" — Germain Lussier (Gizmodo)
2. "In "Guardians of the Galaxy. Part 3” a lot of high stakes, emotions and the feeling of a full ending (and it's a nice feeling!). The production design and scenery here are at a high level according to Marvel standards. The film is long, but the theme of a newfound family is and always will be his strong point. I will miss these losers," — Lauren LaMagna (Polygon)
3. "The film strives for violent emotions, fun and exciting action. Sometimes it succeeds, but for saying goodbye to the characters it seems strangely uneven and frustrating. At the same time, here are the best visual effects and makeup in the trilogy," - Matt Neglia (NextBestPicture)
4. "The film is a bit confusing, sometimes loses focus and tries to do too many things at once. But it suits his characters very well, and it's the best Marvel exit James Gunn could have hoped for. It's amazing how far sincerity and willingness to let history move forward in its own way can lead,"— Jeremy Matai (IGN, SlashFilm)
5. "In the third Guardians of the Galaxy Gunn relies on a surprisingly emotional story centered around the Rocket, as well as the love and friendship between the characters. And he wins this bet. It's just incredible (but animal lovers should get ready for a couple of heavy scenes" — Mike Ryan (Uproxx)
