The ability to change our lives is given to each of us, but most people are too immersed in the daily hustle and bustle to do it closely. We hide behind standard excuses: «there is no time», «I will not succeed », «no one does it », «I will start with the new year» until we are approaching the last line, beyond which nothing can really be changed. The more instructive for us is the experience of those people who, being simply in a terrible life situation, despite fate and circumstances, were able to survive and radically change their lives.
This photo shows the same person at different periods of his life. Arthur Boorman— a former parachutist, a participant in the Gulf War, suffered a spinal injury during one of the jumps. This happened more than 15 years ago. The doctors' diagnosis was disappointing — disability, movement only in a wheelchair or on crutches. Due to the lack of physical activity, problems with excess weight quickly began, and then a whole bunch of concomitant diseases.
We don't know what triggered it, but as a result, Arthur decided to change his life with the help of physical exercises. Many coaches refused such an unusual student, but then there was still a yoga instructor who volunteered to help. Well, what happened next, you will see for yourself.
It's never too late to start making changes and it's never too early. Today is the perfect day, isn't it?
