The Swiss company Logitech has announced a Logi Dock Flex docking station with a built-in display. The device looks like a tablet with a stand.
The gadget is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a brightness of 800 nits. On it, you can view photos and notifications of various applications, for example, Microsoft Teams or Zoom, with which the device supports integration. It is possible to fix the time, date and weather.
Logi Dock Flex supports working with two 4K monitors via HDMI and DisplayPort. It has six ports (two USB-C with Type-C and one USB-A with Type-A), as well as a Kensington lock slot.
The most interesting thing is that the dock can be used as a laptop charger - one of the USB Type-C supports power up to 100 watts. The device runs on the latest version of Logitech CollabOS and is compatible with Windows 10 and 11, as well as the latest versions of macOS.
The novelty is designed for the business segment. Logitech plans to sell the device in large batches to various companies at once. However, ordinary users will also be able to buy it. Logi Dock Flex will be on sale in the fall of 2023 and will cost $ 699 (≈56,000 rubles).
