This is exactly what the plugin for Firefox — New Tab King — does, in addition to links to the resources you use most often, you will also get links to programs such as Notepad » and Calculator », for example, as well as a list recently closed pages.
In general — nothing special nowadays, almost everyone does it, because it's logical. For me, the revelation was the study of statistics on accessing pages. As you can see in the illustration, the program marks the frequency of resource visits with columns. In addition, it also allows you to view lists for different times of the day and see what you watch more often in the evening, or what you laugh at in the morning. But the plugin itself will select the desired list by looking at your computer's clock.
Apart from a slight delay in loading, I have not yet noticed any drawbacks of this «King». But I realized that I obviously visit some resources more often than they deserve. And understanding is the first step to correction.
