More recently, we tried peanut butter, or rather pasta, which goes great with lightly toasted toaster bread. Since buying this pasta is not a cheap pleasure, I decided to look for a recipe on my favorite culinary sites. And found it ;)
Ingredients:
Preparation. Pour the nuts into a food processor or blender and start grinding.
Since I like to have pieces of nuts in the paste, I poured out a little when they were ground quite finely (like a section). At this stage, add the oil and continue to grind.
When the paste becomes almost homogeneous, add honey and salt and turn on the food processor again.
At the very end, add the postponed nuts and mix.
If you add up the processing time in a combine, then the nuts should be ground to a paste state for about 7 minutes.
If you have sesame oil, you can add one tablespoon of sesame oil and two tablespoons of refined sunflower oil. It turns out a very interesting taste.
Transfer the finished paste to a jar. It is not necessary to keep it in the refrigerator, especially if you are going to get rid of it within a week.
It turns out very tasty and satisfying. And most importantly, you know for sure that there are no preservatives, flavorings and other not very useful ingredients in this paste.
