Carmine Gallo, FORBES journalist and author of the book "The Presentation Secrets of Steve Jobs" tells how to convey the essence of what you have come up with or created to the listener in just 15 seconds. In the startup world, such short stories are called pitches. Being able to tell the interlocutor briefly about the product is very important, especially for young people starting their way. Often, even in my experience, I hear excuses like "Let's make an appointment and I'll tell you about my Big idea" or "I just can't tell you everything, everything is very difficult." So the idea or your product will die with you without leaving your consciousness.
Briefly, the method looks like this:
Step 1. Create a header that fits in one Twitter message. The title is the most important thing that the consumer should know about your product. Ask yourself "What is the most important thought that should remain in my listener's head about my product/service/brand/idea". Draw a circle and write your message into it. Make sure your message doesn't exceed 140 characters.
Step 2. To expand the story about your product, create three key advantages over competitors. Human consciousness in the short term can accept no more than three facts and store them in a quick memory. Describe three, maximum four, main advantages. Connect the header and these advantages with lines or arrows.
Step 3. Complement these three benefits with short stories, statistics, and examples. You can add additional items to each message. There is no need to try to describe the whole story. Instead, write a few words to reinforce the story. Remember that the whole story should fit on one page or on the board (as in the video).
