We all use a certain set of familiar tools to perform our tasks and to take care of our property. The same applies to computers: now it is quite possible to pack hardware with a decent set of utilities without spending a penny. Today I suggest you consider a list of seven such utilities that may happen to replace what you are used to.
Glary Utilities
I used it myself before switching to Windows 7, but I think the tool may come in handy here. The utility allows you to simply solve a wide range of tasks for the care of your PC, sometimes allowing you to noticeably increase its performance. This happiness works in all versions of Windows since 2000.
Pandora Recovery
I'm just going to try this utility myself, but I've heard a lot of laudatory reviews, and if you take into account that it's free, the trial is worth the time. Deleted files can be saved, and this miracle of the times of digital media cannot be returned in this way. The program works in Vista, XP, 2000.
CCleaner
I use it and am satisfied, I recommend it to you. An easy way to remove unnecessary things from your disks, and as we know, — this is the way to a happy and uncluttered life. The utility works in all known 32-bit versions of Windows.
Smart Defrag
I use it and am ready to recommend it. The program carefully handles memory and does not waste a lot of processor resources, while helping to keep your disks in shape, and either using downtime or according to a schedule. The program works in all versions of Windows.
7-Zip
Everything I need from archivers. It is free, fast and easy to use. Works with a large list of formats in almost any version of Windows.
SyncBack Freeware
I didn't like the interface too much, but an impressive set of features at zero price. We can say that this is all that a home user needs to organize a backup. The utility works in Windows XP and Windows 2000. I haven't checked it for compatibility with the 7th one yet.
Revo Uninstaller
One of my favorite programs: saves me from programs that for some reason I did not like, or did not pass the selection during the test. Moreover, unlike standard uninstallers, it also removes all (or almost all) garbage. The program works in all 32-bit versions of Windows. Yes, and it works in Windows 7 x64 too, tested.
