Whether we like it or not, days and weeks pass quickly. I don't like to look back at the past month and think: "Stop… And what did I do? One way to not think about how you spent the day is to focus less on tasks and more on making every day meaningful for you and the whole world.
Do one thing that scares you.
This advice has already become a cliche, but, nevertheless, this does not make it wrong. Find fears that may keep you from trying something new. Talk to that pretty girl on the bus. Arrange a deal. Present your idea. Try to cook a very complex dish. If you regularly do frightening things, it will allow you to stretch your boundaries and create a much larger comfort zone.
Do one thing that calms you down.
The world doesn't have to take care of you – you can do it yourself. Learn to take care of yourself. If you are angry, find a way to release the anger. If you are disappointed, do something nice for yourself. Choose one moment per day that you can devote to yourself.
Do one thing for someone else
Take the time to do something good for another person, and it will remind you of the reasons why you need to be grateful, and strengthen relationships with other people. If you give and do not expect anything in return, then you will not need to regret it.
Do one thing for the future.
The future can be a very stretchy concept: next week, next month, your eightieth birthday… You can transfer money to your savings account, spend time with the kids, do yoga or something else that brings you closer to your goal in the future.
