Artificial intelligence based on ChatGPT and ChatSonic has appeared in Opera and Opera GX. The new tools are already available in test mode for all users of these browsers. This is reported in the company's blog.
"A set of new features, namely AI hints, as well as access to ChatGPT and ChatSonic are designed to change your experience of viewing information: you will not just get acquainted with the future of the Internet, but will be able to do it with superpowers," the company's blog says.
The AI Prompts or smart Hints function is available when selecting text in the browser and in the search bar. In addition to retelling articles and suggestions for more relevant content, she can explain the essence, including "as if you are 5 years old", joke and post data on Twitter on her own.
Built into the browser's sidebar, ChatGPT is able to generate ideas, excerpts, translations, routes. And ChatSonic also has images. In addition, you can use them to write code or text, study music, solve mathematical problems. In other words, chatbots in the browser are no different from the original ones.
However, to use all these tools, simply downloading a browser is not enough. You need to register in ChatGPT and ChatSonic (or log in to an existing account).
Features appeared in early access in Opera on Windows, Mac and Linux and in Opera GX on Windows and Mac. To access them, you need to update your browser and activate the corresponding option in the browser settings in the upper right corner.
