Microsoft Edge is testing a sidebar that can be pinned directly to the desktop. The new feature was noticed in the Edge Canary browser version 114.0.1789.0.

According to the developers who have already tested it, it is activated by pressing just one button and allows you to use the Bing search engine with artificial intelligence and other browser tools outside the web page.

The Edge sidebar also contains an image generator, which the company added recently, Microsoft Office applications, a game store and other services. Plus, it is possible to secure any site. Moreover, all these tools can be customized for yourself.

According to Windows Central, the new feature is currently only available to individual Canary and Dev members. That is, not all developers can even test it.
