And this is not surprising —Bookmate is currently the most interesting project of its kind in the Russian-speaking segment of the network. Let's see what merits have provided this service with such high popularity among book lovers.
Bookmate is an online library that provides a number of opportunities for comfortable storage and reading of books. As in any decent library, first of all you need to get a subscription, that is, go through the registration process. After that, you will have access to more than 5,000 free books from the library's collection, mostly classical literature. In addition, you will be able to upload your books in fb*2 and ePub formats, which will be saved in your personal library.
The books in your library are presented in the form of cute volumes with the display of the title and author, and when possible, the cover image. In addition, you can create your own lists (shelves) and distribute your books according to them as you like.

Thus, you can start reading on the desktop using a browser, and continue from your mobile phone or tablet, and from exactly where you left off. At the same time, the book can be fully downloaded to your device, so you can continue reading without a network connection.
Like any modern web application, Bookmate also has a social component. So, you can share what you read on Twitter, Facebook* or Vkontakte, get recommendations, add other users as friends, see their reading list and take books from their shelves.
