WhatsApp starts testing the messenger version for Wear OS 3. It allows you to scroll through chats, as well as send text and audio messages directly from the watch.
For quick setup, you will need to enter an 8-digit code on the watch, which will generate WhatsApp on an Android smartphone. After that, you will get access to chats and contacts. The application also has an extension that displays the number of unread messages on the screen.

To get WhatsApp for Wear OS 3, you need to sign up to participate in the WhatsApp beta program on Android. You can do this by this link. After that, make sure that WhatsApp on your smartphone is updated to at least version 2.23.10.10, and download the watch app. If WhatsApp does not appear in the search in the store on the watch itself, try installing it from your smartphone via the Google Play page.
Now WhatsApp can be used on Pixel Watch and Galaxy Watch 4/5. It is not yet known when the application will become publicly available and whether the list of compatible devices will expand.
